ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Avoya Travel is hiring a full-time Independent Agent Affiliation Specialist
We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented IA Affiliation Specialist to join our dynamic team within the travel industry. In this role, you will play a critical role in identifying, recruiting, and onboarding independent agents for our organization, while also driving inside sales initiatives to promote our travel services. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a keen eye for talent, and a strong sales acumen.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Identify, and source independent agents through various channels, including industry events, and networking.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system.
Ensure a positive candidates experience throughout the onboarding process.
Conduct outbound sales calls to potential independent agents to join our network.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential IAs to maximize sales opportunities.
Provide excellent customer service by understanding needs and offering tailored travel solutions.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
Represent the organization at career fairs, industry events, and conferences to promote our employment opportunities and enhance our employer brand.
Assist with other tasks and/or special projects as required.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
Strong understanding of recruitment techniques and best practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Demonstrated ability to identify and attract top talent using various sourcing methods.
Ability to assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and cultural fit through effective interviewing techniques.
Proven experience in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Familiarity with CRM and other platforms and applicant tracking systems.
Proficiency in using sales and productivity tools such as Microsoft Office, CRM software, and collaboration platforms.
Passion for the travel industry and a genuine interest in promoting travel experiences.

EXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATION
1 + years of work experience in a similar role, preferably within the Avoya Network
Proven work experience as a recruiter, inside sales representative, or a similar role, preferably within the travel industry.
High School Diploma

PHYISCAL REQUIREMENTS
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift to 15lbs at a time.
Ability to travel to home office or other locations as needed.
